So far Ripplecloud was proud of herself, and couldn't wish for a better day. Though the thought of Clan life still loomed her head. It wouldn't be long before she would make her escape from the Clan. She had no life in the Clan, nothing at all.

Sunheart suddenly felt cold. He then realized that the sun was going down. He was shocked, it felt like that they had been there only for 5 minutes. Sunheart turned to his mate. "Time has flown. We should probably get back." he meowed, standing up.

"I guess, but if Lilystar gives me any trouble I'll... I'll ignore her for the rest of my life!" She meowed defiantly as she stood up. Ripplecloud was ready to run back to camp, and see the face of her leader if she didn't scratch it off first... She dreaded going back to camp, it had been so peaceful, so why ruin it by listening to the obnoxious Lilystar? All you'll learn how to do is get a headache...

Sunheart saw the trouble in his mate's eyes. It pained him sorrowfully because he didn't know what to do. So deciding not to reply, Sunheart just looked at his paws. Then shrugging, Sunheart started to led the way back to camp.

Ripplecloud didn't really expect him to say anything, but it could've helped... She darted off towards camp in a rush to have something to eat, but hoped no one was in the clearing. Most of the time cats were out there just to bug her. Once she got to camp she slowed down, not even waiting for Sunheart.

Realizing Ripplecloud wasn't at his side, Sunheart looked around. Then he saw her lagging behind on purpose. Recongizing her problem, Sunheart peeked his head inside the camp. Lilystar was no where in sight, and there was only a few warirors louging around, catching the few last rays of sunlight. Sunheart trotted back to Ripplecloud. "the clearing is nearly empty. Lilystar is no where in sight." he announced.

Ripplecloud nodded her head as she brushed past Sunheart. Once she was in camo she felt a bit better. It was fun being out of camp, but hunger had gripped her tummy like metal jaws. Her paws swiftly carried her over to the fresh-kill pile that sat there perfectly. The scent of the prey calling to her. "I hope Lilystar stays away from camp just so I can enjoy a meal in peace."

Sunheart frowned, but decided not to speak. He grabbed a plump vole and sat down next to Ripplecloud to eat.

Ripplecloud glanced at the frowning Sunheart. Am I boring him with my hateful things about Lilystar...? She was confused, and knew that was probablly the case. Sunheart couldn't be mean to Lilystar, and that bugged her in the most way possible.

Sunheart caught Ripplecloud's glance. Her eyes looked troubled and confused. He just sighed, and turned back to his vole. He finished the vole and burried the remains. He then stretched, wondering vaguely who should led the evening patrol.

Ripplecloud disposed of the remains by digging a hole and slipping them in. She held up her, licked it, and then washed her face. Her tail slowly wrapped around her, and her whiskers twitched silently. She wanted to take a nice nap, but she wasn't even tired, more like bored.

Sunheart glanced at Ripplecloud. "Do you want to lead the evening patrol?" he asked.
